Offensive Stud of the Week
WR/RB Brad Goldsberry,MIT
Finished with 336 all-purpose yards, breaking his own school record. Goldsberry was five receiving yards short of a triple-triple, as he caught 10 passes for 95 yards, rushed 14 times for 137 yards and a touchdown, and also had 104 return yards.
Honorable Mention
QB Tom Dempsey
Ithaca: threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns on 26-of-37 passing. He did not throw an interception.
WR Zach Allen
Norwich: Had three catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-deciding score in the fourth.
QB Joe Callahan
Wesley: Completed 14-of-18 passes for 246 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions in a just 35 minutes of action in a 75-12 win over Virginia-Lynchburg.
QB Grant Welp
Franklin College: Completed 32-of-45 passes for 345 yards and three touchdowns. Welp also had 49 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
RB Dylan Barrett
Buena Vista: Carried the ball a career-high 42 times for 220 yards and two touchdowns. His two-yard score with 36 seconds left lifted his team to a win.
WR Matt Green
Bridgewater State: Caught eight passes for a career-high 216 yards and three touchdowns, including a game-winning score from four yards out with 41 seconds left.
QB Dalton Ritchey
Pacific Lutheran: Threw for 302 yards and five touchdowns, while adding 130 yards and another score on the ground.
Defensive Stud of the Week
LB Brian Murtagh, WPI
Recorded game-high 15 tackles (11 solo), added a sack and fumble recovery. He also disrupted a two-point conversion in overtime to secure a WPI win.
Honorable Mention
DE Nick Woodman
Utica: Recorded seven tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
DB David Ternes
Grinnell: Returned an interception 48 yards for a touchdown in the game’s final minutes. Also had a game-high 14 tackles, including 3.5 for a loss.
DB Tom Cabarle
Williams: Recorded 10 tackles (seven solo), a fumble recovery, two interceptions and a pass breakup.
DB Taylor Roelofs
Whitworth: Finished with a team-high 11 tackles (six solo), a 13-yard sack and another TFL. He also broke up a pass.
S Dan Eller
Ohio Northern: Had a team-high seven tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery.
DB Malcolm Hill
Geneva: Returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown and had 13 tackles.
Special Teams Stud of the Week
LB Andy Bryan, John CarrollThe junior linebacker blocked two punts and returned a third for a touchdown in his team's 71-7 win over Capital.
K Sam Cote
Wheaton: Kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired. Cote was 2-for-2 on field goals and 4-for-4 on PATs.
K/P Daniel Sobolewski
Albright: Drilled a school-record 52-yard field goal and averaged 42.5 yards on two punts, including one inside the 20-yard line.
Daeon Farris
WisconsinLutheran: Blocked two punts, including one that was returned for an 11-yard touchdown.
LB Anthony Emberley
MIT: Blocked an extra point with 42 seconds left to preserve a 35-34 MIT win over WNEC. He also had nine tackles and a forced fumble on defense.
P Joe Janovic
Montclair State: Janovic punted nine times for an average of 44.6 yards per punt, pinning three inside the 20-yard line.
